The Cramer Children's Center was formed in 1992 to address the needs of child abuse victims in our area. We are a nonprofit organization, providing forensics and counseling at no cost. The Cramer Children's Center is an accredited member of the National Children's Alliance.

Who we are

The Multidisciplinary team approach

The Cramer Children's Center works closely with other agencies and professionals in child abuse cases including law enforcement, department of human resourses, mental health providers, rape response, and the schools.

The National Children's Alliance requires that we adhere to strict standards that include providing a private, comfortable, and child-friendly setting that is safe both physically and psychologically for the child. Other requirements include a multidisciplinary team, cultural diversity and competency, a strict organizational capacity, forensic interviews, therapeutic services, access to medical exams, case review and case tracking, and victim support/advocacy.
